We have tested numerous theories - testing 20H2 - testing with no decrap - testing out of the box image - testing with older audio drivers - testing with older.
When this happens multiple times a day it can be extremely frustrating for a user. What we are seeing with this particular model is the realtek audio driver is crashing randomly and breaking all audio on the machine (teams & micollab mainly) the only way to resolve is to restart. We have just purchased nearly 200 of these to roll out and replace existing desktops to enable a more flexible way of working.Īs all new machines we purchase we install a clean image of 21H1 on - apply Decrap 3 and install our apps via PDQ - Office 365, Mitel Micollab & Teams mainly.
